About Zenkai Judo Club
Zenkai Judo Club is a non-profit, community-run judo club dedicated to advancing public participation in sport and strengthening communities through judo. Led by experienced and qualified volunteer coaches, the club exists to make judo accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
Based in Cumbernauld and Govan, Zenkai JC delivers high-quality judo coaching for children, young people, and adults, providing safe, supportive environments where members can develop physically, mentally, and socially. Whether someone is stepping onto the mat for the first time or continuing their judo journey, our sessions are designed to be enjoyable, structured, and progressive.
Our Purpose and Values
At the heart of everything we do are the core values of judo: respect, discipline, courage, friendship, honesty, honour, modesty, and self-control. These values shape our coaching approach and club culture, supporting personal development both on and off the mat.
Inclusive Participation
We promote judo for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds by creating welcoming, affordable, and accessible opportunities to take part in the sport.
Personal Development
We foster personal growth through the teachings of the judo moral code, helping members develop respect, discipline, resilience, and self-control both on and off the mat.
Community Belonging
We aim to be a positive pillar in the community by giving people a sense of purpose, connection, and belonging through shared participation in judo.
